Yes - until you see it firsthand, it’s hard to understand how upsetting and enraging it is to see these guys operate in your community. They are dressed for war, they beat civilians up, they openly antagonize neighbors, they’re masked, they carry people away. Everyone is livid at every scene.

Even under SCOTUS's dubious reasoning in Trump v. U.S., there is no scenario in which maneuvering billions of dollars to an offshore account to keep it out of reach from Congress and courts is an "official act." This is all criminal and impeachable.

I think this is a real blow to Federal punishment capacity: I don’t think there is enough of a pipeline of sufficiently-competent MAGA-friendly lawyers to replace them.
And there’s likely a growing pool of motivated defense attorneys w Fed experience and relationships w local Fed judges.
