Call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and they will connect you with your senator's office.

If you're represented by one of the squishier centrists, be sure to make a call. Now.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

It’s obvious that Trump behaves with Putin in a way that is unique (including compared to Xi). My theory is that Putin understands knows that Trump was psychologically reliant on his father to both keep him afloat financially and build up his ego (Fred Trump used to tell DJT, “You are a king”) 1/
Pretty much this, plus he's afraid of genuinely tough men. He also fawns over Xi Jinping; does that mean Xi has a copy of the pee tape and the Epstein files?
I know people want to nail Trump on something in the worst way, but that eagerness leads to nutty conspiracy theories.
People don't understand there's no need to imagine elaborate blackmail scenarios. Trump is just a sucky asshole who likes Putin and pretty much any dictator that sneers at laws and the international order.

This is the question we must all answer for ourselves. But if we cede democracy out of fear of Trump, things will not get better just because we cave. Freedom is worth the hard work it’s going to take.
There are only two things that stand between Trump and being a dictator -- the courts and elections. Trump wants to send a clear message to law firms that he will go after them.

It is ok to be afraid, the question is what do you do. Do you hide and cower in fear or stand tall and say it is wrong?
