It’s just Capitalism working exactly as designed: as more & more money is siphoned up to fewer & fewer, politicians, agencies, and courts become ever cheaper to buy. It’s called Regulatory Capture, and it’s such an embedded feature of capitalism that even Adam Smith wrote about it in the 1800’s.
