Thread on CDC shooting👇...

Good morning.

Yesterday, after hours of hiding, trying not to make a sound, we stepped outside and saw massive bullet holes in our office windows.

Those weren’t random shots. That was a high-powered weapon no civilian should ever own.

Seems like the right time to share this wonderful moment again, now with subtitles and some context at the beginning about what they were talking about before Jeff Goldblum shared a George Bernard Shaw quote with Stephen Colbert.

Everything we do between now and the next election could make the difference in flipping the House and Senate to stop their next awful bill. So let’s get to work starting TODAY.

I’m going to do everything I can in the next year and a half to win. I hope you’ll join me.

Republicans in Congress don’t care about families that won’t be able to afford a doctor’s visit or rural hospitals that will close. But they will care when they lose elections. They can hide and skip town halls, but next November, they’ll have to answer to their constituents.

Last week, Trump and Republicans in Congress got their way. They passed their big bill that rips away health care from millions of Americans and adds trillions to the debt—all to pay for tax cuts for rich people.

They’re going to regret it, and I’m planning to make sure they do.

This is America in Retreat. Our adversaries are smiling. A bad day for America.

22 hours in on this Big Disastrous Bill, and there’s a reason why the Republicans are flailing: they know it’s reckless and wrong.

We’re going to keep the pressure on. Please help us spread the word.

I mean this is just unbelievable — they don't even know what's in THEIR OWN DAMN BILL.

This provision guts renewable energy and they have no clue know where it came from?? This entire process is rotten to its core.

I just forced Republicans to take what should be a simple vote:

Save health care for millions of Americans
OR
Give tax breaks to people making over $10 million a year

Can you guess which one they chose? We won't let them forget it.

Meanwhile, the current "president" spent his day golfing and making sure no disabled people are seen at his events.
