Here are the counter protests against the far-right anti-immigrant demonstrations this weekend.

Please go + stand up to racism if you can - don't need to hold a sign or shout slogans

Just be there to represent the majority of people who aren't xenophobic + don't hate refugees

Why don’t Argos improve their app/website/selection & become the British Amazon.
Since we cancelled Amazon Prime we’ve used Argos for a few items & we were happy with products & service.
Let’s support a UK retailing company. Let’s use Argos over Amazon.

What do you think?🇬🇧😎

Sheffield United are top of the Championship.

Chris Wilder's side eased past Coventry City to go three points clear of Leeds United, who could reclaim top spot with a win over Swansea City.

Be not afraid

The UK’s GDP is 50% bigger than Russia’s and GDP per capita three times as great (as with most EU countries).

The economic power of the EU alone (without the UK) is EIGHT times larger than Russia.

The EU is a superpower. Russia is not. And should not be treated like one

P.S. If anyone knows of a village with one of these in the South West of the UK, please let me know. I plan to deliver to as many as physically possible over the next fortnight...
I love the reuse of rural British phone boxes as tiny libraries so I’ve decided that every time I see one, I’m going to top it up with a few of my books.

The cost of reaching net zero in the UK by 2050 is now predicted to be just 0.2% of GDP (about £4 billion per year).

Spread this far and wide. It reveals Reform and the Conservatives' opposition to net zero for being 'too expensive' as just plain wrong.

As far-right Tommyrotters march in London, Elon Musk promotes Nazis & ethnonationalism, and Donald Trump installs a white male dominated America, it's important to remember the words of the late great Terry Hall of the Specials:
"There's still a need to fight racism and fascism, and never accept it"

Plymouth Argyle 2-1 West Brom!

Argyle’s first league win since November, our worst ever run is over! Excellent at times, resolute at others. Never say die at Home Park, as always!

Oh and Ryan Hardie is back! 😍

Full-time thoughts? 🤔

Today, I am going to post about books, music from the 1970s, West Bromwich Albion and nothing else. One day off from withering commentary about feckless governments must be possible, mustn’t it?

It boils my piss that clubs like Tamworth are cheated out of a replay nowadays. What a windfall a game at Spurs would be for a club of their level. But no, already loaded PL clubs were “too tired” thanks to their bloated squads of international players and more lucrative European competitions.
