Goldberg was invited to the Signal chat (mistakenly, or not) because Waltz has his contact info.

They can say all they want about “fake news” or “witch hunts” but they still value press coverage. I suspect Waltz talks to Goldberg regularly, even if it’s off the record.

Trump continues to troll us. Making Canada the 51st state (and adding their electoral votes) would put Republicans at a decided disadvantage for years. But the more Trump says things, the more the media starts to sanewash his comments, to the point where it almost becomes normal. 💁‍♂️
Trump keeps talking about making Canada the 51st state. Is he serious?
President Donald Trump continued to belittle Canada and threaten it with joining the United States as the economic war with the country continued.

With everything that's going on in this country, the Conservative subreddit (which is where I keep my finger on the pulse of what conservatives are thinking) continues to focus on shit like the Epstein files and ICE. Must be nice to stick your head in the sand.

A real comment on Reddit after today's Trump - Zelensky debacle in the Oval Office: "Did Zelensky really think he can out deal the guy who literally wrote the book on it?"

These people are so far gone.

Pope Francis is in critical condition after being left in the backseat of a hot Popemobile, which was parked outside a Vatican City convenience store for nearly an hour while members of the Swiss Guard "ran in to pick up a few things."

This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source.

Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

The Democrats have to start from scratch when it comes to how they communicate. That will take a new generation of leaders who are fluent in sarcasm and memes.
Yes. But they are missing that much of this has to be performative. That’s what Trump is great at and Dems are awful at.

You can’t just tell voters , you have to know how to sell voters.

Trump gives sales pitches, Dems show charts. One goes viral. The other is ignored and forgotten
This was the way.

TIL: There is no point in bringing up the bad stuff with Trump supporters. They throw their hands up and deflect. So today, it ends. Silence is golden, or something.

Trump supporters get uncomfortable when you bring up the awful stuff his administration is doing instead of pretending this is normal. Keep doing it.

Here's the thing: You can hate where this country is headed, and share some of the awful stuff you come across, and still be happy and content in your life. You don't need to be angry 24/7. I promise.

I am of the opinion that it is our duty to continue to share all of the awful and stupid things Trump is doing with those we know who voted for him.

It is the very least we can do.

Bummer
MAGA in DC just being told that Trump just said the inauguration will now be inside: “So we’re not gonna see it in person? I don’t like it. We came all the way from OK. We might as well stayed home & watched it on TV. It sucks. We have farms. We don’t get to not feed the cows cause it’s cold.”

Inevitable response to the report’s findings: “If it’s so bad, maybe the Democrats should’ve found a better candidate.”
JUST IN: Judge Cannon ruled that the DOJ can release Jack Smith’s report.

This is TERRIBLE news for Trump, who fiercely opposes the release of the special counsel’s report about the January 6 attack on the Capitol.
