This is absolutely true. My other shitty senator is Dave McCormick, whose office famously never picks up the phone. But this week? They are answering, and they are trying to gaslight constituents like me. They know what’s coming, as they want to lay the blame on Democrats.

For the second day in a row, someone has answered the phone at Senator Dave McCormick’s office. This indicates to me quite clearly that the Republicans are worried about their shutdown. Because no one *ever* answers the phone at that office.
