In Germany, the storage of immobile metal is permitted since the end of the 1960s.
Before that, this had to be done on your own property.
Yes, that is a privilege that takes away quality of life from others.
And we shouldn't take it with us into our future.

Cities are for (moving) people!
Not cars!
1/x

It's a bit of a shame that something like this isn't critically analysed by journalists.

It is not a solution, it will manifest problems.
I tell you some.

Charging cars on the pavement manifests all the problems that this parked metal already creates in cities. We should prevent that.

That’s a very high percentage of ‘protectors of women’ who happen to be domestic abusers 🤔 It’s almost as if they are just racist scum www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

Loads of empty shops in Manchester. How about we convert some to cycle parking like this in Delft? Let’s create free, secure cycle parking, helping to enable people to ride instead of drive.

TRUMP: No. Is Time Magazine still in business? I didn't even know that. Elon is doing a great job.

I see Nigel Farage is making vast sums flogging a dubious tax avoidance scheme. Those who actually love their country pay their taxes. They understand that without taxes we don't have schools and hospitals and the police. They certainly don't use their status as an MP to encourage tax avoidance.

1/ 🚨 Conspiracy theories about the 2024 election miss the bigger picture.

The truth? It wasn’t one night, one hack, or one fraud. It was a system rigged in plain sight – right in front of us. The playbook was out in the open for years. But hardly anyone paid attention.

Here’s how they did it... 🧵
