MAGA complaining that they didn't understand Bad Bunny's performance has nothing to do with a language barrier.

It has EVERYTHING to do with a HUMANITY barrier.

Forever salty that they didn’t reunite Gene to open the 2012 London Olympics with “Olympian.”

NBC apparently thinks Olympics coverage is just playing a bunch of ads featuring Olympians.

Marion’s “This World and Body” turns 30 today. I maintain that within the Britpop pantheon, this album has aged quite well. “All For Love” is a forever personal favorite.

Wish my grandmother was here to see a Bad Bunny win the Grammy for Album of the Year. Back in the ‘90s, she was so excited about Ricky Martin. She would have been so proud that the first Spanish-language album to win was made by a Puerto Rican.

In the last 48 hours, Musk's reactions to the Epstein release show exactly why he bought Twitter.

He's used the platform to call coverage of his emails with Epstein as "lies," elevated his fans who have defended him, and gotten positive reinforcement from his AI chatbot.

Thinking about that book I read somewhat recently about the New Mexico State Prison Riot… there are some quotes that are very relevant to this situation.
BREAKING: The two federal immigration agents who fired on Minneapolis protester Alex Pretti are identified in government records as Border Patrol agent Jesus Ochoa and Customs and Border Protection officer Raymundo Gutierrez.

We should focus on the fact that when names surface of people deeply enmeshed in Epstein pedophile world in the UK, Italy, Slovakia, Canada, they are forced to resign public office in shame. When when names surface in the US, absolutely nothing happens, because they are protected by Trump.
It’s profoundly unsettling that many of the world’s most powerful figures named in the Epstein Files, including the US president and the wealthiest person alive, continue to hold positions of influence.

What a terrible world we live in

Just a reminder that both Ilhan Omar and Maxwell Frost have been attacked this week.

No outrage by right-wing media or even corporate media.

Now imagine if this were done to Republicans.

The entire system is rigged in favor of conservatives, folks. The double standards are just wild.

It was always obvious that if Trump faced a choice between protecting his dictatorship and protecting the 2nd Amendment, he'd toss out the 2nd Amendment.
Trump: "With that being said, you can't have guns. You can't walk in with guns. You just can't. You can't walk in with guns. You can't do that. But it's just a very unfortunate incident."

If you can't (or refuse to) fathom that people will stand up for themselves based on their principles and humanity--& not because they're getting paid--you're telling on yourself.

If you knowingly spread this lie, you're scared & desperate. Because We the People are pushing back.
In mass numbers.

Really hard to look at this and all the other examples of bravery and kindness from ordinary people in this moment not think also of the tremendous cowardice exhibited over the past year by some of the richest, most well-protected people in business, media and politics
Let us all have the courage displayed by the residents of Minneapolis.
