The Senate voted 50–46 tonight to block Trump’s tariffs on Canada, and yesterday it voted to block his tariffs on Brazil. Now we need the house to vote. Where’s the House? Is Johnson still guarding the Epstein files?

I propose November 1st as resurgence day. Halloween ends, and we all pick up the phones again. MasterCard and Visa, bare minimum, once per day. Every day. All of us. They are only hiring the usual number of holiday workers, this would frighten credit card companies. “It’s not going away”
A source familiar w/ internal workings at MasterCard notes the company does not plan to recruit additional call center workers for the Christmas season, as MasterCard does not expect higher call volume than usual. A resurgence of calls re censorship during the busy season would be huge strategically

BREAKING: Democrats just tried to pass a standalone bill to fund WIC & SNAP to make sure families don't go hungry during the Republican shutdown.

Republicans BLOCKED it. So Trump won't use emergency funds to keep SNAP running, and Republicans won't let any bills pass. Shameful.

Amazing watching these rightwing grifters blame Pam Bondi for refusing to release the Epstein files— as if she has an ounce of autonomy. As if she’s not merely a Trump appendage. The mental gymnastics they do to avoid acknowledging that their deity was close with a pedophile is a sight to behold.

Among Democrats - "Do you support Democrats like Sanders and AOC who call for a more aggressive stance towards Trump, or moderate Democrats who are willing to compromise with Trump issues important to their base?"

AOC/Bernie: 70%
Moderate Dems: 30%

The real enemy of this administration is cosmopolitanism. Whether in Los Angeles or South Africa, multiracial pluralistic democracy is a threat to them because it means their “us or them” model of the world is wrong. So they stir up trouble on purpose and gleefully lie.

Jonathan Joss was MURDERED.

Words matter here.

He was MURDERED.

it was a HATE CRIME because he is a gay Indigenous man.

Say those words. Do not dance around it. He wasn't "killed in a shooting." He was murdered in a hate crime.

The details surrounding the murder of Jonathan Joss are soul crushing. The fact that it happened here in San Antonio & that SAPD did absolutely nothing after years of homophobic harassment & violent threats received by Jonathan & his husband is infuriating but not surprising. No cops at Pride!
