Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

literally every professional and hobby writer I know will tell you they have a million and one ideas and never enough time to write them. these weaselly talentless hacks are saying that their brains are full of mush. thirteen year olds with wattpad accounts are worth a hundred of those guys.
It’s always just so funny to me that AI using “writers“ often defend it with but how else are you meant to come up with ideas?? Like that’s what tells you that you weren’t really meant to be a writer, you have none.

I find it really weird when people talk about TV characters like they're real people making choices. Like it's the writer's fault if they act dumb, you know that right?

“Imagine being the guy running on wanting to see trans kids. Haha. Not even a trans ADULT would run on that. Normal adults wake up & think they want to see HEALTHY, SAFE, HAPPY kids… GavOUT”

It's wild that this year's Coca-Cola AI Christmas ad reportedly cost $2-3 million and was made by 100 people. You can assume this McDonald's ad is similar.

For the same cost, you could definitely hire humans and get something that looks 500,000 times better.
McDonald's has released an AI-generated Christmas ad

The studio behind it says they 'hardly slept' for several weeks while writing AI prompts and refining the shots — 'AI didn't make this film. We did'

The US Postal Service gets treated like a business, but at the end of the day it's a government service. It'll never happen under this administration, but it seems like we're due for a discussion about the USPS becoming a taxpayer-funded agency once again.
