Similar to this, authors, check your contracts - you may find a clause that says royalties are not payable on books sold for less than a certain proportion of the cover price
In April 2024, Spotify implemented a new scheme: songs with less than 1k streams per year would no longer receive royalties.

The data for 2025 was just released via Luminate, and 88% of songs have been demonetized.

Read it again: 88% of songs on Spotify have been demonetized.

To the military, You Do NOT have to follow illegal orders . You know that already from basic, through the ranks, and Officers, it is repeated throughout your service. They are going after fellow Veterans and intelligence officers for saying what you are told on a regular basis. See the problem?

This is 10th-grader Arnoldo Bazan.

A citizen.

Immigration agents grabbed him and put him in a chokehold.

"We're from the United States bro!' he screamed.

Agents took and sold his phone

And when he finally got home hours later, his shirt was ripped, he neck had angry, red welts, and he sobbed.

The Department of Labor has just posted its second Nazi slogan (in the original, "Germany for Germans") in the last two days.

No one believes this is a coincidence.

They are telling America exactly who they are and what they intend.

From firing the local MAGA-allied police chief to calling for the abolishment of ICE, so much inaction by elected Democrats boils down to "but I'm scared!"

I am very sorry, but you said you could do this job when you were hired. Please step aside if you can't.

Journalist Claire Hollingworth called the British Embassy in Warsaw on Sept 1, 1939, to report Germany's invasion of Poland, marking the start of WWII. To convince officials she held the phone out a window so they could hear the German tanks.

She died #OTD in 2017 at age 105.

“If a woman dares to show herself in public in any way, then she can and will be sexually harassed with the aid of genAI-driven tools that can easily turn her face into highly realistic pornography” is an absolute red-alarm human rights disaster
The end goal of Grok sexual harassment is to make women afraid to be visible. It’s a punishment for daring to exist in a way the perpetrators can’t control. There’s no one solution to this, because the problem isn’t just technological. It’s cultural. It’s misogyny. This is just one expression of it.

Trump is the U.S. inside out. All of the hidden ugliness and secrets inverted to a proud boast.

He's our deepest shame, with overt pride. Our ugliness, paraded and applauded.

He's the Hyde of the American psyche - exposed and normalized.

He's deeply American. And America is deeply Trumpian. 🧵

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.
