strikes me as bad. so for example man city’s team of lawyers can appeal any governance decision up to CAS, and if that also doesn’t go their way they can now add a few more years of appeals to it? sheesh. the governance body would just settle early surely
Fascinating — but interim — finding in a case before the European Court of Justice. The future of CAS as the (forced) court of last resort for teams, players and leagues v FIFA/ UEFA etc might be in trouble. If court agrees with an AG’s opinion, civil courts might be able to challenge CAS decisions
