I’m not going to pretend I haven’t seen able-bodied people grift this or any other system attempting to accommodate the disabled. I can’t do that. But disability is profoundly complex and playing “spot the cripple” is a losing game. Also the tone of this piece sucks.

if nothing changes by next summer, this is the last chance for our community to push back. The big ask is not spending $2000 to go to Vegas to play video games once. I'm not expecting much but it at least feels possible because the requirement for protest is simply not doing jack shit
