Just a vicious, lawless regime.

The spectacle of masked gangs of state vigilantes, ripping people out of cars in full view of the street, is a terrible reminder of how quickly the unthinkable can become normal in a democratic society.
Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.

She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:

People say the UK leads on animal welfare, yet many animals are still kept in awful conditions that others in Europe have already moved away from.

Today I brought together thirty-six MPs and Lords to urge the SoS at Defra to end farrowing crates and cages.

We need #PR. The right very rarely gets the majority of the vote in the UK. It relies on the non-right majority being split across multiple parties. PR could finish them (I hope).

The Tories want to be in power asap. They want the money back in their control.

For that reason they will do a deal with Reform.

Reform can’t win without the Tories.

There is no ambiguity. The Tories/Reform plan to be the next Gov.

And our Country does not need them again

Pleased to discover that slightly misnaming the national chess championship you won as a school child is a much more serious offence than repeatedly racially abusing your fellow pupils and telling them they should go to the gas chamber

Please include the fact that that boat was approx 1100 nautical miles from Miami. There were no munitions on the boat. It was a traditional Trini boat design & probably wooden not a go fast drug boat. Blowing the boat & people to smithereens isn’t a legit response. It was murder. We aren’t at war.

Migrants, trans and non-binary individuals, disabled individuals, and now neurodivergent individuals. Does Labour have a check list of which already marginalised and vulnerable groups they will go after on any particular day?

Yes. Exactly that.
Democracy for Tice = him getting his way, banning stuff he doesn’t like, only allowing his free speech, lying to voters if need be.
Racism for Tice = some of you foreigners may be ok… or certainly useful shields from us being accused of racism. Otherwise, no.

Brexit was built on lies and misinformation. It has harmed our economy, reduced our int'l influence and taken opportunities from our young. And instead of showing leadership, explaining the damage and setting out a plan to reverse it, Starmer remains determined to keep the UK out of the EU SM & CU

Meanwhile senior figures in government are still discussing fantasy options, showing a continued lack of knowledge of the EU. There's no option currently available to the UK where goods flow and people don't. All in all, a pretty dismal picture.
