Chat GPT helped me write this. Based entirely on its advice, I have also purchased a new vehicle -- a cyber truck that my wife definitely likes.

Damn. This is amazing. £325 per week, paid monthly, for 3 years - and the result was a profit for the Irish economy:

Cobequid will re-open at noon today.
Update on the closure of the Cobequid Community Health Centre per Halifax Fire:

A furnace problem led to the emission of smoke and fuel and now there's a fuel odour issue onsite. Blood collection patients can reschedule or go to the Bayers Rd clinic. Diagnostic imaging patients will be contacted.

On the advice of @ttomlin.bsky.social I hit up the new Aerotech Connector after work. Terry, you failed to mention it’s a 10 minute climb with 5-8% gradients 😅 The multi use path is closed for fencing work. Main road has tiny shoulders and it’s very crosswindy (with a nice view going back down)

I’ve mentioned it before but it’s happened again: a very large percentage of our child-related travel is medium-distance trips that don’t line up well with transit (so it’s barely faster than walking) but biking is literally as fast as driving.

ICS Courier will only be making one (failed) delivery attempt, so later today I get to find out what deepest darkest Burnside's cycling infrastructure is like these days. Google says I need to plan for a 2 hour round trip and the route it's suggesting to Wilkinson Ave is...not great.

Sept. 10th marks the climatological peak of the Atlantic hurricane season and yet things are strangely quiet.

When freighters were required by anti-pollution regulations to reduce their sulfur emissions, lightning over two Asian shipping lanes dropped by half almost overnight in 2020.

Researchers analyzed years of lightning strike data to find the link between pollution and lightning

The world regulated sulfur in ship fuels − and the lightning stopped
An unplanned experiment takes scientists closer to solving a long-standing mystery: To what extent, if any, have human-created emissions influenced thunderstorms?

No mention of the Active Transportation trail that runs alongside the Aerotech Connector in the province's news release today, which outlines the benefits for drivers when the 5km, $70-million dollar road opens. Perhaps the trail will get its own news release?

Craziest thunderstorm over my part of Pictou County last night. I don't think I've ever seen so much lightning! 23mm rain in my gauge but hearing that other parts of PC had little to no rain.
