You and your wife drop your 6-year-old off at school. You just moved here. You see ICE terrorizing your new neighbors. You film them, as is your legal right. Your wife complies with orders. She is then shot in the head. You still have to pick up your child later today.

This could be you.

Sadly Starmer will go down in history as the leader of a one term Govt who had a massive majority but for some unfathomable reason chose to do anything and everything to alienate its supporters …

And it’s so bl**dy frustrating 🤬

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.

But is Starmer listening? The fact that John doesn't have the Labour whip tells you the answer.

Any rational Labour leadership would be reflecting on these points, rather than going further and faster into oblivion

Labour alienated its core and failed to attract Reform voters. Now will Starmer change tack? | John McDonnell
The local elections showed that voters feel betrayed. But in a party that brooks no dissent, that message isn’t getting through, says independent MP John McDonnell

You’re telling me that right wing voters that Labour was trying to appeal to voted for a right wing party anyway and left wing voters decided not to vote for Labour because they’re too right wing now? Who could have possibly predicted this.

1. Yesterday I wrote a thread about the dire warnings from food professionals on the state of supply chains. Comfortable folk might find it impossible to imagine an end to the current abundance. But we'd better start imagining it fast.
THIS thread is about solutions - false ones and sound ones.

Good morning.

Today is the 80th day that the U.S. President is running a backdoor bribery scheme in which any CEO or foreign oligarch can send him money secretly through his crypto coin scam in exchange for favors.

It's the biggest scandal in the history of the Presidency.

People forget that years, decades, before Trump ran for office he was busted for all sorts of crimes: money laundering, illegal lobbying, gambling crimes, cheating on taxes. He's a lifelong criminal. It was never about democrats "punishing" him, it's because he's a criminal committing crimes.
