Most people do not understand how much regulation it took to stop food poisoning from being a daily cause of death. They are about to learn the hard way that you can't feed yourself from those apartment deck planters year round.
Anyone arguing that food safety laws are minimally needed or that there's ways to stay safe by making everything from scratch...I'm sorry but where are the ingredients coming from in this scenario?

I just want y’all to know that a significant amount of my patients with addictions - to alcohol, to IV drugs, to opiates, to tobacco - are people who started using those things to self-medicate. They self medicate for pain (both physical and emotional) and for mental health needs that aren’t met.
