I was on a bus in Mexico once, when the bus was stopped by... I will never know by whom. A man in tactical gear boarded the bus. It's an anacronism to say he looked like an ICE agent, but the ICE agents I see in media largely look like fat versions of him.

ICE only has about 20-30,000 employees nationwide. Including desk jobs so there's even fewer armed. It's smaller than the NYPD.
There's a reason they do their mega raids on one or two cities at a time, and it's not optics. It's because that's all the dudes they've got.
