It’s hard to believe that one man can cause so much stress, so much fear, so much pain and suffering…a man who took an oath to preserve and protect our Constitution. This man, who is inciting terror across our land, must be removed from office. In a sane world, it would happen immediately.

It’s pretty wild that the most rabidly anti-immigrant administration in recent memory is comprised of a President married to an immigrant, a VP married to the daughter of immigrants, an assistant AG in charge of Civil Rights who’s an immigrant (Dhillon), & it was all funded by an immigrant (Musk).

I continue to believe that the key missing tactic in the higher ed movement right now is to mobilize PARENTS.
Good point. I’m her colleague in the same subfield and I really do care about her (& have been raging and raging about what’s happened to her).
My comments were re: interest convergence. As a 27 yr teacher & prof, ofc society doesn’t care about us, but they should care about hurting their own kids.

I've started to see arguments that we have to get used to AI Slop coding even if it isn't great, because it's fast. Humans could go faster, too, if they're allowed to turn in stuff that only sometimes works. Such a fascinating double standard that will in no way come back to haunt, naw.
