Listen Kaine, Hassan, King, Cortez-Masto, Durbin, Shaheen, Rosen, and Fetterman. You're NOT gonna take away my 2025 election joy. We voted in that election for folks to FIGHT for us. That doesn't include YOU.

YOU are what we voted AGAINST last Tuesday. So I'm gonna hang on to that.

Warner is up for reelection. He was widely seen driving towards surrender behind the scenes, but he's voting no in public because it's unpopular. The real question is whether he supports a senate leadership change. If not, someone who supports senate leadership change should primary him.
But I cannot support a deal that still leaves millions of Americans wondering how they are going to pay for their health care or whether they will be able to afford to get sick.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Whoa -- Sen. Durbin went to up Leader Thune during the vote last night to tell him that on the shutdown vote and ACA promise that "8 of us are sticking our neck out that you're going to keep your word. I hope you will. He said 'I assure you I will,'" Durbin says just now

Not many people are talking about the children being harmed by #ICELawlessness but it's important to talk about.

What's happening to these kids is being paid for by our tax dollars.

We're paying for the torture of children.

I know this is beyond grim, but we must let people know about this!

Today is a great day to make sure you cancel ANY recurring donation to ANY sitting Democratic senator and especially to ANY of the party committees.

Yes, they will notice. Yes, they should all be afraid. Send a signal that they'll be held collectively responsible for this utter betrayal. 🧵

The expanded subsidies are supported by a supermajority of Republican voters, including 57% of self-identified MAGA. More than half of all subsidy recipients live in red districts and/or red states. Congressional Republicans would have eventually caved to save their own asses in the midterms.
........and if they hadn't flinched, what's the mechanism by which those premiums still don't spike

"Republicans voted to (not) do a thing because they control the govt, then they refused to do the thing they already voted not to do, here's why that's Dems fault"
Senate Dems aren't stupid. They know full well the Republicans and especially Donald will never extend the enhanced ACA subsidies. So, by flinching, they're guaranteeing premiums will spike by 114% -- people will go broke and/or die. Blaming Republicans in midterm campaign ads won't prevent that.
