Next in the Gem Dragon illustrations I did for Dungeons & Dragons The Book of Dragons is my favorite. You may have noticed the somewhat controversial design feature but instead of cowardly ‘fixing’ it, I leaned all the way in.

What if we as authors/actors/culture creators just--collectively decided that the NYT is no longer the paper of record? Stopped submitting books for review? Stopped giving interviews? Stopped using their pull quotes on our dust jackets and in our advertising? Stopped submitting op-eds?
The asymmetry of Bouie having to delete posts for a bunch of journalists suffering zero consequences for horrifically unethical journalism is peak

In the midst of everything else I think we DO have to talk about how yelling at our reps, no matter how terrible they are, *worked* 99 times out of 100. Do NOT give up on the power of yelling
