I hadn't realized leaded gasoline hit Gen-X so specifically. I always assumed it was the paint I stripped around the house, as a kid.
Fun fact the guy who invented leaded gasoline also invented ozone depleting CFCs. Thanks for damaging my entire generation Thomas Midgley Jr.
