Woke up at 4am this morning with a potential letterpress print stuck in my head! So done a rough and ready version, might come back to it another day and do a better one!

Who voted? Were players eligible to vote?

That carry-on in the Camogie today was absurd. Dublin's Aisling Maher posted about it here: www.instagram.com/p/DJM9V1JMhiY/

How, in 2025, is it even vaguely controversial that women should be able to chose whether the want to wear shorts or not playing sports?

I’m glad they put the camogie association in this position because it’s fucking absurd. “femininity” for performance sake serves nobody.

It's absolutely ridiculous. We've got girls coming up from last year's u14 team who are just like, "...You want me to wear WHAT?"

Camogie players given short shrift and forced to change to skorts before game
An ongoing battle by Irish camogie players over the right to wear shorts came to a head on Saturday when two teams were forced to change into skorts before their match could go ahead.

Surprised to see this picked up by Reuters - an Irish sporting organisation are forcing female players to wear skorts rather than shorts.

Today, two teams protested and wore shorts to the field
- and were forced to change for the game to go ahead.

If all camogie players continue to have to wear skorts, all referees and match officials should also have to wear them.

Watch how fast change would happen.

Anyone who thinks that female athletes have to wear ‘skorts’ is a weirdo freak.

Right just so I understand, a camogie match was nearly abandoned because the athletes turned up wearing shorts which isn’t allowed? In 2025? What is the fucking difference in them wearing shorts?? Why would you make them wear skorts? WHO IS THIS SERVING

One of the most inexplicable rules in sport: Rule 6 (b) Camogie Association Official Rules. Players must wear skirts/skorts or face sanctions. Story reported in The Irish Times (amongst other outlets). Hard to believe this rule is still ratified.

While the gospels say that Judas led the Romans to Jesus, a new theory is gaining traction with some Biblical scholars. There is evidence, some say, that Judas merely shared Christ's location on an insecure group chat that accidentally included several Roman officials and journalists.

The record for the longest US Congressional speech is no longer a filibuster against the Civil Rights Act of 1957 by segregationist Sen. Strom Thurmond.

It's now a speech against Trump's authoritarianism, corruption and demagoguery by Sen. Cory Booker.

24 hours and 19 minutes - and still going.
