This is anecdotal & I haven’t cited these numbers, but a quick look will tell you that “affordable” rent and the city minimum wage have absolutely no correlation
But seriously tho this pisses me off so fucking bad.
On a related note I was working a banking convention, and in one of the panels they we’re celebrating how they raised the threshold of “affordable house” from 60 to 80% of market rate.
