Epstein moved in the circles of the rich & the powerful. He must've had charisma, presence, conversation. Just because a person was photographed w/ him at parties or wherever doesn't necessarily mean that person knew abt or consorted w/ underage girls.

I'm reading Capra's autobiography. It's fun. He was a great storyteller. He cast an unknown Stanwyck in an early melodrama & it made her famous. He wrote she had the "emotional fires of a young Duse, or Bernhardt." (Only from Brooklyn.) Here's a tear-jerking scene from that movie.

I'm reading Capra's autobiography. It's fun. He was a great storyteller. He cast an unknown Stanwyck in an early melodrama & it made her famous. He wrote she had the "emotional fires of a young Duse, or Bernhardt." (Only from Brooklyn.) Here's a tear-jerking scene from that movie.
