When an Omaha mother discovered high levels of lead in her son’s blood, she looked up EPA soil tests and discovered potentially harmful levels of the metal in her yard.

City officials said her home didn’t qualify for a government-funded cleanup.

The EPA Was Considering a Massive Lead Cleanup in Omaha. Then Trump Shifted Guidance.
The Trump administration says it will speed cleanups, but residents of the largest residential lead Superfund site worry fewer properties will be remediated.

Government websites changing on the fly to conform with what their leaders are saying in meeting is some serious Orwellian vibes.
A Dem senator pressed Trump's FCC Chair, Brendan Carr, on the agency's independence at a hearing today, noting it says "independent" right on the FCC website.

Minutes later, with the hearing still going on, the website updated. The word "independent" was gone. www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...
Brendan Carr said the FCC isn’t independent. Its website quickly updated.
The Federal Communications Commission chairman faced questioning over the agency’s role in pressuring media companies and its independence from the president.

Two babies were born in New York within a year of each other, soon after WWII.

One, Rob Reiner, lived a life of humanity and achievement. He brought us delight and joy. His memory will be a blessing.

The other, Donald Trump, will be remembered as an embarrassment to our nation.

You're in the Trump administration, or you're a Republican in Congress. You consider yourself a decent person. You lack the nerve directly to contradict Trump. But you COULD post your own comment on Rob Reiner to make clear Trump wasn't speaking for you.

Has anyone done this?

The key to feeling rested after the holidays is to take it easy and slack off the last 3 weeks of December.

This should be official national policy.
