Dear Congress,
Libraries are the place we all belong. The place where Mister Rogers’ neighbors collide at the library to help one another. We come together to embrace library joy. What good is the world without libraries and museums? ❤️‍🩹

Call, email Congress! Help libraries & museums! We need you 💛

Have a wonderful day/evening #bluesky. It’s goodnight from me.

Here’s our home galaxy over Craig Goch dam in the stunning Elan Valley, Mid Wales, UK.

The lights under the bridge are from a car’s headlights on the other side of the lake/reservoir.

I don’t know how to live with this knowledge.

ANYWAY, did you know there's an extension you can put on Chrome that will connect with your local library system and when you go look at a book, say on AMZ, it will tell you if that book exists in the library system and if it's available?

It's literally called Library Extension.

Democracy is in retreat globally. In the United States, we often believe it can’t happen here — even while it’s happening here. I wrote this @freepress.bsky.social guide on the red flags of authoritarianism so we can spot and fight back. We have power. Let’s use it:

Commission your friends for art. Give them dollars (this makes them happy) in exchange for drawing you like (this makes you happy). This is symbiosis. This is a healthy ecosystem.

Support your friends. Support art. Support your friends' art.
