I also need to say how thankful I am for the people who volunteer to run and work at polling places. It’s remarkable. Hundreds of thousands of regular people all over the country dedicated to making sure your votes are counted, not some dark looming government force. Let’s keep it that way.

Don’t forget to set your clocks aside tonight. Forget them in the back of the sock drawer. Box them unlabeled in the attic for ten unopened years. Hit snooze and bury them twelve feet deep in the backyard.

I think I'm good at data analysis because I review each data set assuming I won't find anything cool or interesting. People assume you'll find some blockbuster correlation, but even if you do it might not mean anything. I try to let the data speak for itself.

I cannot tell you how many tech journalists at prominent media organizations do not understand this
Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

He was afraid of the stakeholders.

Don't buy musical equipment from Temu or Amazon if you can help it. I stick to Sweetwater and Musiciansfriend for most online orders. Cheap gear is great but I hate the idea of losing specialized music stores.
