As expected, the @nytimes.com refuses to address reality directly, hiding behind vaguely polite narratives and the misguided excuse of journalistic standards to avoid political backlash. But just because they rejected my letter due to its blunt honesty, doesn’t mean it can’t be read at all.

I don’t know what it is, but everything seems more complicated. Just a little more difficult or slightly off, to full on batshit. From taking care of myself & my family, to keeping up connections w/others, to the insanity of American politics. It just all feels harder & like I’m off kilter somehow.
