One update and one hotfix today. First, exhibitor forms will open December 1st and be available through the end of January. After that we'll begin processing them and hopefully send out results during mid-late February. Details and the form will be mostly the same as before.

I am going to say it right now: insurance forced me off a medication that helped control my blood sugar, and I need access to electrolytes, cold water, and small snacks at a moment's notice sometimes. The convention center staff will pry those out of my cold dead hands since I have food allergies.

Lrp external hard drives are SO cheap anymore. You can get 2Tb drives for less than 70 bucks if you don't mind bestbuy store brand, and they are a thousand percent worth the investment for anyone who has files they want to keep, not just artists. Protect your data, keep it somewhere physical!!!

Unsolicited artist advice of the day: if you're a freelancer with no back up devices or storage, remember to pick a few things up in the black Friday sales. Even a pen drive to back up your projects so if you have a catastrophic hard drive failure you wont lose everything..learn from my mistakes. 😅

I don’t know if it only makes sense without the periphery stuff, but Nier has books, stage plays, etc. I once asked Taro about this and how are English fans supposed to keep up and he looked confused and asked “Why would you need to keep up? Who needs all of that?”
After "film trilogy that dropped a critical plot point exclusively via timed Fortnite event" and "video game series whose story only makes sense if you're aware of the events of a canon pachinko machine", I feel like there are whole frontiers of user-hostile narrative design waiting to be explored.
