I don’t need these tips now, but I absolutely positively will soon.
I absolutely despise the flat metal shovel but with the stairs it's really good. The only problem is the snow getting stuck to it so this time I use WD-40 and it was amazing. No snow got stuck to that damn shovel thank God. That's always the worst part actually.

So basically no performers with any actual talent or scruples will ever agree to perform there again.

Not that it matters since no one will buy tickets to sit in a marble chair for several hours anyway.

Cameron movies provide a reason to get off the couch and pay large prices for admission and snacks.

I fear for the future of the whole system. Nobody is willing to invest the money, time and effort and risk necessary to save it on the production side, and the audience is getting out of the habit.
Chris and I have had this conversation several times: imagine if the raw filmmaking power and vfx talent being put into these movies was used in service of something that wasn’t nearly unbelievably dumb? But it isn’t, this is what the guy wants to make, and it looks good. Value neutral judgement

It’s pretty wild that the most rabidly anti-immigrant administration in recent memory is comprised of a President married to an immigrant, a VP married to the daughter of immigrants, an assistant AG in charge of Civil Rights who’s an immigrant (Dhillon), & it was all funded by an immigrant (Musk).

This is John Roberts' America.
The blatant selling of pardons is perhaps the clearest instance of criminal conduct authorized by SCOTUS. Pardons are a quintessential "official act." So, even when Trump takes a bribe to issue one, he is presumably above the criminal law.

GOP operatives Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman, convicted election fraudsters, were paid $960,000 in the second quarter to secure a pardon for a former nursing-home operator who defrauded the government of $38 million. Trump pardoned the man, Joseph Schwartz, last month.

US coal generation has collapsed from about 50% of electricity in 2005 to just 14% today. It’s one of the fastest energy transitions in modern history. Operating a coal plant now costs more than building new wind and solar in every state. buff.ly/lhSKS7D

Can the war on coal still be won?
Ten years ago, the U.S. was on track to phase out coal by 2030, thanks to the Sierra Club. Now Trump and AI are delaying the fuel’s decline.

More people should be talking about this administration and Republicans killing vaccines aka killing children with their policy.

Children will die in this country and it could have been prevented.

Will Republicans be held accountable then?
[In approx] "117 million children born during 1994–2023, routine childhood vaccinations will have prevented approximately 508 million lifetime cases of illness, 32 million hospitalizations, and 1,129,000 deaths, at a net savings of $540 billion in direct costs and $2.7 trillion in societal costs."
Cutting childhood vaccines has nothing to do with “pro-business” politics. Some vaccines were added because they reduce suffering and deaths and keep parents from missing work. Chickenpox alone cost working parents ~4 days off per case.

Every AI implementation should come with an environmental impact statement (yes, I know the current administration won’t bother because they’ve allied with the Saudis and Russians to increase oil use). For most, the juice is not worth the squeeze.
The truth is that AI is mid. It's an ok tool for specific types of tasks. Not worth billions of dollars and if it is going to take your job, that's a skill issue.
