Cheerful, apathetic, cheerfully apathetic. Mostly. (He/him)
Well, that's encouraging!

I'm not a New Year's resolution guy, but I might try to hold off on buying action figures that are just incremental (or even marginal) improvements on ones I already have.

Case in point: I ran outta the house to get the new Punisher and Daredevil figures, but are they that much better?

This is easily the most "it was made for me!" figure I've got in a long time: the new Marvel Legends Uncanny Spider-Man! (It's Nightcrawler in disguise. Keep it under your hat.)

Back from Montana! Drove over real quick to see my folks, my sister and her family, and learned why nobody else lets her dogs sleep on the bed. (I was literally sideways at one point!)

Crumbs, I keep buying 'em, but I haven't been able to put up my Star Wars X-mas guys for a couple.

2025: America watches Canadian bootlegs of journalism about US concentration camps. Nothing is for sale, everything is for rent. Computers will take your job but will be worse than you at it. You make less than ever but can gamble on your credit balance. One racist ket addict gets paid $1 trillion.

@mrmorbid.bsky.social Motherf--I think I got a paper cut on my tongue sealing up your Xmas card! If it's full of blood when you get it, sorry.

Now for a nice relaxing glass of lemonade--PFFFFF

So I did curse out a guy collecting signatures today. He was collecting for IL26-001 (which would supposedly expand parental access, probably to kids' detriment) and IL26-638, "which seeks to restrict participation in girls' sports to those designated female at birth."
Search that same news site for "Scott Pressler." He's organized anti-Muslim "rallies" and generally sucks.

Washington state has a pretty robust initiative process; that I can't recall ever being used for anything I'd call good? It's tough for me to keep from cursing out signature collectors...

I'm not one for hyperbole, but the only reason Hama hasn't got to do an UNCLE SCROOGE comic is because it would rock too hard. Like, it would make all other comics look like underachievers.
Please, someone hire this poor man to write an Uncle Scrooge comic!

Damnedest thing. I got blasted yesterday and watched a bad old horror movie I remembered seeing as a kid--THE CHILDREN. It's not very good, but it somehow hit the spot in my brain that contained rhymes.

Today, on the blog: like "Who Goes There?" or "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" the original story "Farewell to the Master" is far less known than its adaptations. But is this comic more faithful than the movies...?

As long as you make sure the Ch'od heads find homes: he's one of my favorite Build-a-Figures in recent memory. You can give me all the Cr'reees, though!

I wasn’t sure I was going to open the new Silver Surfer figure, but the package didn’t show up in great shape, so decision made.

Watching TERROR-CREATURES FROM THE GRAVE right now! (Barbara Steele!)

The only thing that would make Tubi better is shittier ads. Like local pizza places and used record joints.

Today, on the blog: @teganoneil5000.bsky.social mentioned Jademan a while ago, and of course I have a random issue for example-type purposes.

I still don't think "Lord Buddha, please let his neck be broken" is a traditional prayer, though.

So I had to reorganize some stuff in my house, since one of my kids will be staying with me for a bit; and I thought maybe now would be a good time to build my own not-Criterion Closet! Clear the boxes and stuff out, move all the DVD's in.

Well...

Going firebird, the Phoenix could one-hit Godzilla, Goku, Superman…Sure, the explosion would destroy that side of the planet, but my point stands.
