Democracy dogs out canvassing for @maryahfordistrict3.bsky.social, who is running for Colorado Springs City Council District 3.

These doggos fully endorse someone who wants to restrict private equity from driving up housing costs and protect renters from predatory corporate behavior!

More Denver stuff, lived in Colorado for 11+ years and had not ridden the Cherry Creek trail until this week and this was my first time riding the Broadway Bike Lane - Riding against vehicle traffic felt weird but the bike signals were great

Now to get it added to google maps

Just like supporting climate action. Keep talking about these things folks - most people agree with you despite what you may think.
We also saw "pluralistic ignorance": MOST PEOPLE SUPPORTED NON-CAR TRAVEL, BUT THOUGHT THEY WERE THE MINORITY! 65-69% said they support non-car travel more than other people, which can't be true. Does the majority assume their own view is odd and so go quiet in debate, thus enabling loud minorities?

Finally it’s off the ballot does this mean Recreational MJ sales will start in Colorado Springs this year?
"After weeks of back-and-forth over whether Colorado Springs voters would once again weigh in on recreational marijuana sales this spring , the Colorado Supreme Court has put the issue to rest — for now."
Colorado Springs won’t revisit recreational marijuana sales after state Supreme Court decision — for now
Recreational marijuana sales will — officially — exist in the city for the first time.
