He's given up his electoral positioning *voluntarily* to accomplish this and and that's a huge point of concern. He saw what brutality in immigration enforcement did to GOP numbers in 2018. He promised to lower prices, then raised huge tariffs. He's *not worried* about the 2026 election.

The failed justice side of this story is tragic. Four young teenage boys - 15, 16 years old - were accused of this crime and two of them spent years in jail after the cops extracted false confessions. There was never any evidence connecting them to the crime. Turns out it was a roving serial killer
