Fresh from the mass pardons of cop-beating criminals, the GOP announces a new “investigation” of Jan. 6.

Hard to see what they can add to the 800-page report of the bipartisan Jan. 6 Cmte, but they can procure the star witness who has so far refused to testify: Donald Trump.

Trump is now attacking Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde who admonished him to recognize the dignity of all people. Here is a portion of the admonition from Tuesday’s National Prayer Service that Trump took issue with.

Trump can’t stand a message that is essentially “love thy neighbor.”

This is great and I’m very happy for everyone. But where are the celebrations for any of the 70 Palestinians who were released? I’m sure their families are equally happy!

I had Copilot forced on me yesterday. No way to turn it off + I’m also an editor + also have the same concerns.

Unacceptable that we’ve had something forced upon us that we didn’t ask for, don’t want, and that jeopardizes our livelihoods! (Plus the hovering icon is bloody annoying.)

That account is where I personally do all my work communication—I am an editor, and most of my work contracts explicitly ban any use of Generative AI

California and Florida insurance companies. They don’t give a damn about your politics. Whether you claim to believe in climate change or not, we’re all in the same boat dealing with the consequences.

Trump’s plea to put off his sentencing by NY Judge Merchan makes no sense. He has already been tried and convicted. He says some of the evidence should’ve been excluded, but the only possible remedy if that were true — it’s not — would be to reverse his conviction in the still pending appeal.
