Every year since 1988, the United States has recognized World AIDS Day — until now.

Why not? Maybe because the Trump administration doesn’t want to acknowledge that its foreign aid cuts led to nearly 150,000 deaths from AIDS, according to Boston University researchers.

Shameful.

Admiral Bradley can take the hit for an administration that doesn't give two shits about him or the military in general, or he can drop his retirement papers and out every single political appointee involved. We'll soon see what kind of officer and leader he is.
REPORTER: Does the administration deny that that second strike happened, or did it happen and the administration denies that Hegseth gave the order?

LEAVITT: The latter. Secretary Hegseth authorized Admiral Bradley to conduct these kinetic strikes. He worked well within his authority and the law.

It's about attacking trans people. It's also poorly written, doesn't follow the prompt, doesn't quote the assigned article, uses transphobic language in a class taught by a transgender instructor & doesn't even meet the word count. How could a junior in college do so many things wrong in an essay?

I highly recommend this essay by @marknevitt.bsky.social (Commander, JAGC (ret.)):
Killing Shipwrecked Survivors is Not Just Illegal—It Endangers U.S. Servicemembers
If the United States chooses a path where killing defenseless survivors becomes acceptable, American servicemembers will pay the price for that choice.

This is ridiculous. It was the first TRUMP admin which developed the cases against President Hernandez. His brother Tony Hernandez was indicted in 2018 and convicted in 2019, and key ally Geovanny Fuentes Ramirez was indicted in 2020.

Both were later sentenced to life in prison!
Leavitt: "The people of Honduras have highlighted to him how the former President Hernandez was set up. This was a clear Biden over prosecution."
