Good for them. A 5% wealth tax with no offset for decreased unrealized capital gains is nuts—and does anybody really believe that once California gets its hands on it, it would be a one-time deal?

A government that murders it's citizens has lost the right to govern. I see the Shah's son as an instrument of removing that government.

I don't like monarchy. I am the citizen of a republic and will always prefer a republic over any monarchy. But you know what is worse than monarchy? A Theocracy of deranged fanatical lunatics who would murder hundreds of thousands just so they can rule the ashes.

Been thinking quite a lot this week about one of the very first cases I tracked of ICE detaining a U.S. citizen

A year ago, ICE agents detained a 20 YO they said swerved his car at them

But local Utah police checked security footage. And it wasn’t true

Two Utah police agencies said ICE agents made false claims about a driver swerving toward them during a traffic stop last week.

The destruction of centrifuges and facilities does not require bombs to reach all infrastructure. Centrifuges are delicate and even small vibrations can destroy them. The MOP bunker-buster bombs the US used on Natanz would have generated a blast wave far more significant than small vibrations.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.
