The provision of the 14th amendment that the Supreme Court unanimously wrote out of the constitution existed for a reason. Its drafters knew what would happen if you allowed insurrectionists back into power.

Seems the new standard for being called a traitor in this Age of American Misrule is to fly more than three dozen combat missions in Iraq for the U.S. Navy, then command the Space Shuttle as a U.S. Astronaut, then serve in the U.S. Senate, and remember that Russia attacked its neighbor, Ukraine.

No, the meeting did not go badly for Ukraine. It exposed in the most undeniable, unequivocal way possible the pro-Putin commitments of the president and vice president. That was information Americans and allies needed to have clear before them.

Like most policies, Trump's EO targeting birth right citizenship has clear losers. The groups that will feel this most harshly are those for whom the path to a green card is lengthy & arduous. If you are an asylum seeker, refugee or an Indian or Chinese national on a H1B, you are the intended loser.
