The first reporter to tell Trump to shut the fuck up is getting laid every night for the rest of their life.
“You’re a stupid person” — Trump lashes out at a reporter who presses him on the fact that the suspected DC shooter was actually thoroughly vetted before he was let in the US from Afghanistan

I'm waiting for him to call someone a poopyhead because that's how mature this is
Q: Officials say the suspect in the DC shooting was vetted & it came up clean

TRUMP: He went cuckoo. He went nuts. There was no vetting

Q: Actually, your DOJ IG says there was thorough vetting of Afghans. So why blame Biden?

TRUMP: You're just asking questions because you're a stupid person

1. It would appear that in recent reporting, the BBC is now using the phrase "biological male who identifies as a woman" when they mean to talk about a transgender woman.

This is an incredibly demeaning way to talk about transgender women in news pieces.

BBC Now Calling Trans Women 'Biological Males Who Identify As Women'
These stories come in the aftermath of allegations that a small but mighty cabal of “LGBT reporters” had somehow seized control of the BBC and “censored” right-wing views.

but we have to keep building data centers otherwise the economy is going to grind to a halt
big late breaking news: the market monitor for the largest energy grid in the u.s., covering much of the midwest and mid-atlantic, has called to block new data centers connections to the grid, saying current course of growth assures regular blackouts
No more PJM data centers unless they can be reliably served: market monitor
The PJM Interconnection’s market monitor urged the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to rule that large data centers can only come online if the grid operator can still meet reliability metrics.

Outstanding!
BREAKING: This is huge news, the EU's equivalent of the 🇺🇸Supreme Court's 2015 Obergefell v. Hodges ruling.

🇪🇺Court of Justice just ruled all 🇪🇺countries must recognise same-sex marriages granted in other member states.

This effectively legalises gay marriage across 🇪🇺

This article baffles me. We tried switching to ranked choice voting in CO, but the *dems* are the ones who killed it. The arguments were a joke. I think they know that RCV will lead to more progressive and populist outcomes, so they're fighting it.

What the heck? People in the replies on this saying these were called hard disks or diskettes. That's insane. I'm in that weird age group that went through every phase of computers from '85 and on. I never once heard these referred to as anything but floppies.
there is a woman on TikTok who has been arguing for months now with randos that keep insisting that nobody called 3.5" disks "floppy disks" or "floppies" at the time. it's weird. no matter what kind of proof she provides or how many agree with her, people are coming out of the woodwork to disagree
