I simply can’t believe that Starmer is less popular than Trump. Less popular than Truss was. Less popular than Johnson was post-COVID. I call BOLLOCKS. Proof that right wing shenanigans are at play. And it’s very very dangerous.

I want to thank BBC 2025 for showing Rear Window. I’ve never seen it before. Have watched it 3 times in the last 10 days. Brilliant.

We had a by-election in Mid Beds. Always used the village pet shop. It’s important to support local independents. Then shop had Reform leaflets at the til. Shop went bust. Probably coincidental but businesses should be careful about making political statements. Banning Labour MPs?

I had no idea Rachel Reeves’ was also in charge of Singapore…where Dyson’s HQ moved to, after Brexit, which he supported. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Been hanging onto this for a couple of years, but it’s never far from my thoughts. Which politician does this genuine pig remind you of?

How shit at business do you have to be, to be personally worth 37,000 times the amount an average UK worker will earn in a LIFETIME, and still be incapable of withstanding a tiny tax increase?

The man who persuaded the British public that Brexit would be great for UK business who the F-offed to Singapore meaning Dyson is no longer an incorporated UK business

He did this in Jan 2019 under a conservative government.

What he means by ‘family business’ is the 36,000 acres of land he owns

Anthony Joshua earned approximately £90 million battering Jake ‘grifter’ Paul.

He’s going to pay approximately £45 million in tax.

Why the fuck is this a news story.

THIS IS HOW IT IS SUPPOSED TO WORK.

He still has enough money for a lifetime or two.

Media needs to stop this bullshit.

A new year’s wish that we all start framing paying taxes as positive and patriotic contribution to a better world for all. Thank you Anthony Joshua! I’ve just paid mine too. They were quite a lot less than yours, but for some reason most historians don’t earn £68.5m.
He isn't "losing" this money. This is called "paying tax like a responsible citizen and not hiding your money offshore" and we need to start recognising and applauding it.

There are those driven by love and those driven by hate - sadly, the base simplicity of hate means it is platformed so often because it travels fast and thoughtlessly, thankfully I know far more people who have the courage and strength to be driven by love

"Money" is a perfectly valid response to "why do you want this job?". Sick of interviewers expecting me to act like I've dreamt of working at Morrisons since I was a child.

Suspect some female Tory MPs are quietly dying inside at this. When you’re so desperate to get in a bit of gratuitous foreigner-bashing that you find yourself arguing *against* preventative strategies that try to prevent sexual violence, ffs, what have you become?
Dog-whistle and factually incorrect. Ladies, raise your hand if you were sexually assaulted by a boy at school? I’d wager this or a family member is most women’s first experience of sexual violence

I see Farage didn’t vote in the Customs Union bill this afternoon, not speak against it. Either he’s not back from Abu Dhabi yet or he can’t be arsed to defend his pet project or he’s lazy or he was at some grift opportunity. Or all four.

Don’t quite understand why recipes with spice have a yogurt dressing/side to reduce heat. Just reduce the bloody heat in the first place and save yourself the extra work/digestion. No?

It's 6.30am in December, in torrential rain. I've just passed at least four people sleeping in closed shop and bank doorways on Station Road, Clacton. Farage has mentioned his constituency in Parliament just three times in a year and a half - re. winter fuel allowance and local elections.
Farage himself is currently in Abu Dhabi, representing his constituents at the Formula One...

Labour are attacking Greens. Fine. I have yet to see any party that has entirely affordable aspirations.

But at least the Greens HAVE aspirations.

Labour have seemingly decided the status quo cannot be touched, even when it doesn't work for 90% of people, or the viability of life on the planet.
