Clarence took bribes for 20 years+, including land, education for relatives and a paid helicopter ride to Putin's hometown. His wife wrote over 30 letters to states, offering her help to flip the vote outcome. She also paid for the busses to attend 1/6.
Giving those two a pass was unacceptable.

As awful as this, the focus on whether the woman was complying obscures the more important issue: in a democracy, there should not be armed agents demanding to see papers of every passing person.

It seems hard to believe this was just a year ago; feels longer.

Really good piece.
It seems hard to believe this was just a year ago; feels longer.
But the healthcare situation in the U.S. has gotten even WORSE since then, because the GOP is obsessed with sinking the ACA and making healthcare even less accessible than it already is for average Americans.
