watched anastasia (1997) for the first time yesterday and i loved it!! but i do find it funny that they made rasputin the villain. i'm not incredibly familiar with the romanovs' story but a 'christian mystic' does instantly make you shudder

There's something I need people to understand.

The studio that made this released some numbers. They had to produce 85 minutes of footage to find 15 usable seconds for this ad.

The machine that creates moving images out of nothing has a failure rate of 340:1 and the best 15 seconds... is this.

just came back from gladiator 2 and paul mescal's performance was lacking a little bit emotion for my liking. he was okay. really enjoyed however joseph quinn and fred hechinger as the insane emperor duo. and of course denzel is denzel 📽

Good morning, Bluesky. Today’s #GoodMorningNews: a trial at Washington University’s school of medicine has shown great results for a vaccine that would prevent recurrence for a particularly aggressive form of breast cancer. It’s a small trial, but 3 years later 16/18 participants remain cancer free
