For a lot of people, UBI could mean freedom from financially abusive situations like bad jobs, marriages, etc. You could afford to distance yourself from toxic situations. This is why TPTB don't want it IMO.

One of the reasons I've started skipping recipe sites posted after 2023 is that some of them are pure AI. And that often means the recipe is wrong, sometimes with potentially fatal results. It's not worth the risk, so new recipe posts? Automatic skip.
One of the things I really hate these days is how websites that used to sometimes have semi-okay content now have pages that are filled with nothing. You google something because you want five or six specific suggestions and find a website.
