Oriza dressed up as a murderer and Jinpachi as a detective, which I had planned to draw around Halloween.
There is a little bit of bloodshed, so I've set the sensitive setting just in case.

I always tell this to my research assistants: if you use AI to summarize and write for you, you don't need to be my assistant. You don't need to do research at all.
Research should be selfish: *you* (not a machine) learn how to read, write, innovate, and dream. Otherwise, what is the point?

Look...everybody likes a good shortcut. But LLMs aren't one. They're a longcut. They appear to save time, but they take away control. This isn't even touching on the many, many ethical and environmental concerns (others have done that). This is about integrity of data.

1. the vaguest instructions ever, bc i was working on the fly and grabbing whatever was on hand
2. shit has been measured to the 2nd decimal, movements and hand positions described

This is a brilliant post about how small, 'performative' moves—like a pride mech in a Discord banner—aren't empty at all. They're cheap, easy ways to force fascists to reveal themselves and bounce. It's zero-cost community protection, and honestly? Kinda vital.

Some of the anti-AI stuff feels a bit like when people would say "don't use Wikipedia as a source." It's just like anything else, a piece of information that you weigh against multiple sources and your own understanding of its likely failure modes
