I ran out of words, live in Northumberland - a very old and interesting kingdom of the past. Steeped in history and glorious scenery, though pre Covid we explored all manner of places including Amtrak across the USA, Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka, Australia, Bali, Singapore and loads of Europe by train.
I declared that at 70 I no longer ever got presents. Much much simpler all round.
I've reached the age when the most exciting Christmas present is a new nasal and ear hair trimmer.

What I always hear: “We can’t afford to pay our workers more than $15 an hour.”

What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.”

Funny how that works.

When peaceful protest is a crime, democracy is in deep trouble.
