Yesterday my partner and I counted all the ads along Chicago's Brown Line for "Friend," a company selling an AI chatbot pendant, and tallied how many of those ads were defaced.
Still working on a longer piece on this, but here's the quick and dirty: we counted 104 "Friend" ads total, 42 defaced.

Exactly this point is why I, as a federal criminal defense lawyer of long standing, repeatedly and openly tell people that the moral duty of all sufficiently privileged American patriots is to obstruct and impede CBP and ICE by any nonviolent means necessary.
"I think [whoever] should do [undeniably illegal thing], it would be good and right and I encourage them to do that" is 1A-protected. It doesn't matter that you're encouraging lawbreaking, it doesn't matter if what you're saying is idiotic and wrong. You still have the right to say that.

well, I read it, and the salient, non-gross part is Lizza alleging, midsentence and without elaboration, that Nuzzi ran numerous “catch-and-kill operations” on RFK’s behalf, which would give her a role in both his appointment and the untold preventable deaths he has abetted in office. Cool.

I get it. But every President used ICE instead of dismantling it. Why is that? I get applying it to spys and known criminals but ICE has run amuck for too long—including under Pres Obama. ICE should never have been created without adopting a clear pathway to citizenship.
