Well this is a proper head scratcher.
But yeah, fiddling around with tax and getting rid of consumer protections should sort it.
Wonder what those ‘former chancellors and prime ministers’ had to say about this shitshow. Any mention of Brexit at all??

Sky News and the BBC repeatedly mention the "migrant crisis" in doing so they are normalising and legitimising far right talking points. There is no "migrant crisis", there is only migrant hysteria, which the British media is feeding into instead of countering.

What's really odd about the government is it feels like they are still the opposition. Powerless. Get the BBC in and put a rocket up their arse. When Farage talks about immigration, do something on the economy. Make a lot of bloody noise. Use the power you have. It's all just a bit....meek.

How much blame should social media shoulder when we look at the state of the world today? When I joined FB in 2010 it was to connect with friends, family and share art. It was innocent then. I joined twitter to share art. Yesterday I saw politics entering instagram too, something about flags.

Word of the day is ‘tamalou’: a French name for an older person who no longer greets their friends with ‘how was your holiday?, but with ‘t’as mal où ?’, ‘where does it hurt?’. There follows an enthusiastic account of aches and pains and doctor’s appointments.

This must be a watershed moment. The government's continued use of X is no longer simply negligent. It is an act of conscious assistance to violent extremism.
The common sense meaning should make this Elon Musk's "rivers of blood" moment

Though I think he goes further than Enoch Powell in a couple of important ways
Elon Musk spoke by video to Tommy Robinson's anti-immigrant rally in the UK today.

"You're in a fundamental situation here where, whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you," said Musk. "You either fight back or you die."

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage faces questions over who funded £885,000 Clacton constituency home.

No mortgage. Questions about £44,000 additional stamp duty.

Other properties owned through a company which lacks sufficient finance.

Unlike Starmer, Farage won't publish tax return.

Farage said today he would said women refugees back to the Taliban.
What a grotesque loss of touch with the whole idea of ‘right’.

The Taliban’s strict command about ‘no skin contact between women and unrelated men’ means rescuers leave injured but surviving women under earthquake rubble, even as they retrieve the dead first.

Taliban's 'no skin contact with males' rule leaves Afghan women under quake rubble
Many women remain trapped and overlooked after the deadly earthquake in Afghanistan, as male rescuers prioritise efforts on men and children due to Taliban's strict “no skin-contact” rule.
