This illustrates the full process of capturing the "Essence" of a mesh to be used in a morph. The distance field is retrieved and then the mesh is projected onto the cube-shaped "screen" in order to pack its surface properties into two cubemaps.

The morphs in Keeper use distance fields as an (implicit) surface representation, which makes it possible to control the distance at which the surface should lie. In other words, it’s easy to deflate or inflate objects, and meshes become easily ‘moldable’.

I bought Arc Raiders with the thought that the PvP element might ruin it for me in the long run but in 25 hours playtime I maybe got into less than 10 fights against other players. Even the squad matches end up being PvE mostly. Ironically now kinda starting to miss a good brawl 😅

Ohhh... ARC Raiders is only 40 bucks. Now debating with myself if thats worth it if I only play solo

![Can you put into words what that purpose is? You and the frog have really become icons of this protest.
There’s been a nice overall whimsy that has shown up. The frog is amazing. We had a bunch of other inflatable people here last night, too. I saw people playing Twister the other day.
What they rely on is fear. So by coming out in an absurdist manner, it speaks to them, to some extent, that we’re actually not that afraid.
It also dismantles their narrative a little bit. Ever-increasing emotional reliance on platforms is a reason I keep suggest practicing despair hygiene and not dooming on main.
If it already feels impossible not to use social media as a venting outlet for emotional regulation, then maybe that’s a sign that there’s an overreliance happening.
