I told my brother I was a fish in a kingdom of fish because that's what you do when you have siblings-he took it way too seriously and started crying because I'm a fish with a small lifespan and he'll be an old man all alone without his sister fish. (It backfired) (He's still crying)

Do you follow any pre-writing rituals before diving into your novel? I do. I close the windows and dim the lights until the room is nearly dark, let the gentle sound of rain play softly in the background, then close my eyes for a few minutes before I begin.

Y'all, I didn't get my Spotify or Apple music wrapped to freak out too. Because I leave music on for my dogs when I leave so I get this shit . I don't know who this man is, I just listen to Billy Joel. God damn poodle
